Grading Policy for Physics 153: Relativity and Quantum Mechanics

Your final grade will be determined as follows:

• Textbook Homework Assignments 15%
• Tutorial Homework Assignments 15%
• Tutorial Attendance 5%
• Laboratory 10%
• Reading Examinations 5%
• Each Quiz 10%
• Final Examination 20%

Homework forms an important portion of your grade. Be sure to conscientiously work on each assignment. Your lowest homework grade will be dropped (both textbook and tutorial). In addition, late homework will be penalized 5 points for each day late. Homework is late if not turned in by 4:00 pm on the day it is due.
